About Olivia Mason
Throughout my time at Clemson I took a variety of classes emphasizing public and global health while simultaneously emphasizing a fluency in Spanish. The courses I participated in taught me about the public health system, health policy domestically and abroad, and has provided me with a fluency in Spanish that transcends casual conversation but can be used in a professional setting.
I had the opportunity to spend 5 months in Argentina during my senior year in which I was able to test my Spanish fluency and professional abilities in a healthcare system. Throughout my time in Argentina I took approximately 5 classes, maintained an internship at a health clinic in Córdoba, and assimilated into a Argentine culture.
